A resident of the English city of Newton Abbott, Devon, Jane Tapper built a pub in her own garden so that her husband would not leave the house. This was reported by the UNIAN news agency with a link to The Mirror.
The thing is that the woman was tired of the fact that her husband went with friends to drinking establishments and spent most of the time there.
The woman spent almost 18 thousand pounds on her idea. Of these, 15 thousand were spent on the preparation of the territory, and almost 3 thousand for the construction of the premises.
The enterprising wife named her pub “The Dog Kennel Tavern”. Her husband and his friends liked him so much that now they spend almost all their time in the new pub.
We will remind, earlier we told what unusual bottles for beer were made in Denmark – from paper, as well as how his wife took revenge on Charles Dickens with the help of fried cheese.
