Doesn’t grunt – and it’s nice: in New Jersey, they got carried away with pork-flavored ice cream

We have already told our readers about this year’s ice cream trends. But it looks like this information will have to be adjusted due to the rapid popularity of a new trend – pork-flavored ice cream.

The author of the idea is Jake Hunt, Managing Partner of Windy Brow Family Farm in New Jersey. Since 2013, he has been making ice cream on the farm. And this summer, Hunt added a new look to the line – pork roll ice cream ( roll).

It would seem – what disgusting? But the balance of sweet ice cream and meaty flavors was so cleverly crafted that the new dessert became incredibly popular with New Jersey residents.

According to the entrepreneur, guests from other states and even countries come to try ice cream: for example, from Italy. And Hunt’s business is becoming more profitable: for example, in 2018, ice cream sales on Windy Brow grew by 50% compared to last year, mainly due to the popularity of pork roll.

Would you like to try such ice cream?
