21-year-old Beth from the English city of Stoke-on-Trent got up at night to drink water, and met the morning, already being the mother of two children.
Beth Banford was already an experienced mom in her early years. The girl and her 22-year-old boyfriend already had two children: Elsa-May was three years old, Elvira was two. And, despite the experience, Beth became a mother again completely unexpectedly for herself.
“I had no idea that I was pregnant. My periods did not stop, I didn’t put on much weight, ”says a mother with many children.
Beth walked away from surprise for more than one week after giving birth. After all, she went to bed as the mother of two daughters, and met the morning, already being the mother of four girls.
According to her, she just got up at night to drink water.
“I was in bed when I felt pain. I didn’t wake Andy and went downstairs for a glass of water. When the pain intensified, I decided that I needed to go to the toilet. And I was still in the toilet seat when I suddenly gave birth. I didn’t have time to feel anything. I called the ambulance, and they told me that I still need to give birth to the placenta. I started pushing again – and the baby was born, not the placenta. It was a real shock. It all happened so quickly. One minute I was in pain, and the next – I already had two new babies, “- said the girl .
Baby Willow was born first. Behind her is her sister Freya. The youngest scared her already frightened mother to a pulp: the girl was not breathing. Fortunately, the doctors stayed in touch all this time and told Beth what to do. Everything worked out – the baby breathed in air and screamed.
“In the hospital I would probably have had a caesarean because of Freya’s breech presentation. And so I did it myself, ”smiles Beth.
Interestingly, during her unnoticed pregnancy, Beth visited doctors several times, thinking she was sick, but no one recognized her interesting situation.
“The doctors thought I had contracted ARVI,” she throws up her hands.
Her fiancé Andy slept peacefully all this time, while Beth was giving birth and resuscitating the children. He woke up when the exhausted mother was already just sitting in the bathroom, clutching the newborns to her chest, and waiting for the arrival of doctors.
“When he saw me, he ran out, rushed to his mother, who lives with us, told her that I was sitting in the bathroom with two children. She thought that Andy was crazy, because we already had two children, ”continues the girl.
At last the paramedics arrived. First of all, they examined the babies and Beth herself, cut the umbilical cords, and then asked her for a map of the pregnant woman. And they were very surprised when they found out that Beth did not and did not have a card.
The mother and the children were taken to the hospital. They spent another week there – it was necessary to carry out all the examinations, tests, to get vaccinated. Everything was in order, and Beth and the kids went home.
“During pregnancy, I led a normal life: lifting weights, dancing, doing everything that non-pregnant women do. I am quite picky about food even at normal times. And if they found out about my situation at work, they would probably be fired. If I knew that I was pregnant, of course, I would behave differently. It’s hard for me now, but I’m coping, ”she says.
