But beware: these symptoms can also accompany diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, so if they do not subside over time – you should definitely seek help from a specialist! If you suspect that your digestive problems are the result of overeating, eating too fast or eating something fatty or hard to digest, then make sure you have any of the following herbs on hand. They will surely bring relief:

  • Mint – found in its leaves: essential oil, tannins and flavonoids they will have a positive effect on stomach problems or irritability of the digestive tract, stimulate your stomach to digest, relieve heartburn and burning sensation.

  • Mustard – anti-inflammatory and laxative, stimulates metabolism. It will increase the secretion of digestive juices, help with flatulence and constipation.

  • do not overeat, eat little and often,
