If you answer yes to 3 questions, it may mean that you are in a state of autumn blues. Why is this happening?
The answer is simple. The change of season from summer to autumn, lower air temperatures and their frequent variability, as well as shorter days and definitely less sun do not make us optimistic. Although sometimes autumn is bright and warm, our body senses changes and does not react the way we would like. But there are several ways to successfully deal with this condition.
How to protect yourself from the autumn blues
1. Physical activity
To better manage your fall fatigue symptoms, remember to exercise regularly. Although the level of endorphins (hormones of happiness) drops significantly, and we do not feel the desire to exercise, but force yourself to exercise regularly. Ideally, you should do this three or four times a week. Thanks to this, you will strengthen your immune system, improve your figure and, as a result, the negative attitude towards your appearance will disappear. Plus, playing sports improves your mood and adds vitality!
Also use warm days for outdoor sports. You can also pick mushrooms with friends, walk or ride a bike. Any form of outdoor exercise is good.
Autumn is perhaps the best time to start something new, as in the fall recruitment begins, for example, dance schools, sports groups are updated. Hot salsa, rumba, zumba are just a few of the many forms of dance. The offer is really varied, and everyone can find something for themselves. Don’t worry you can’t dance. After all, you go to courses to learn it.
Another alternative could be gym, fitness, step and many other forms of group activities. Remember that when you do something in a group, you always have more mobilization than if you do it yourself.
2. Awaken the child within yourself.
Each of us has a small child. You now need to evoke it in yourself. Do you remember how you admired the colors of autumn as a child? Go to the park, collect colorful leaves, look for chestnuts and acorns. You can make a beautiful bouquet or picture from the leaves, and little people from chestnuts and acorns.
If you are a parent or grandparent of a small child, take your child for walks more often. No one like a child can enjoy life and infect others with this attitude.
