Semi-finished products, ready meals, fast food outlets, all this facilitates everyday functioning. It turns out, however, that although you save time this way, you also lose health and figure.

How are cardio exercises different from modeling exercises?
I live on the run
The world rushes forward, and so do we. Hardly anyone nowadays has the opportunity to spend a few hours preparing a delicious 4-course dinner. Manufacturers meet us and, wanting to save our time, offer a number of products that they require little or no work. The nutritional value and health of such products, however, is incomparably lower than that of fresh products. Suffice it to mention that plant enzymeswhich support the digestive system, vegetables cease to be active a few minutes after grinding them. So you definitely won’t find them in the finished product. The same applies to z some vitamins such as vitamin C, which is unstable and easily oxidized. Convenience food consumption is especially high in Great Britain (highest in Europe). Unfortunately, the percentage of overweight and obese people is also there.
My mom didn’t teach me
When the role of a woman was limited to taking care of the house, she had incomparably more time to cook and look after the children. The little ones also had more opportunities to do so see how mom prepares the meal. This, sometimes involuntary, was how learning to cook looked.
Today more and more people does not learn culinary skills from home. Considering that nutrition is one of the most important factors in maintaining good health and a slim figure, the lack of such abilities may affect the well-being of the body. Hence, in several European countries, courses or training in cooking are introduced in order to contribute to the improvement of the health condition of the society. One such program in Scotland saw a positive shift in food choices. It is a good omen for the future, allowing you to hope for permanent change in eating habits.
I know what I am choosing
No self cooking limits the range of products that can be found in the daily menu. Because if you can handle raw and fresh products and know what you can prepare from them, you have control over how much saturated fat, salt, sugar will be in the dish, and what heat treatment will be used.
Excess fat and salt, in turn, are popular factors that have a negative impact on the cardiovascular system. Ready meals, unfortunately, abound in these products. Research shows that those who choose their own food products and then prepare them on their own, they stick to the dietary recommendations more often and they are not afraid of reaching for vegetables. Those who shun cooking eat less vegetables and fruit.
We eat together
The decline in the number of people who cook is often also due to social aspects. Running a one-person household or not having meals together with family members is also the reason why eating out or ready-made meals is chosen. Research shows that eating family meals is associated with greater nutritional value of dishes and a wider choice of food groups. More vegetables, cereal products, dairy products and fruit are on the table. The conclusion is simple, when you cook for your loved ones, you care more about eating healthily. When you prepare a meal just for yourself, you pay less attention to it.
