  • The most common problem is blockage. Poor cleaning of dishes from food debris leads to clogging of the filter, pump or nozzle. The problem is easily fixed on its own.
  • Leakage of water in the area of ​​​​the door of the bunker, most often fails the seal. As users notice, after a year of operation it has to be changed. The good thing is that this is easy to do and without outside help.
  • The dishwasher does not work or freezes on the installation of the program – a malfunction in the electronic module. How to repair a dishwasher with your own hands

Repair will begin with the elimination of simple faults.

Elimination of blockage in the PMM

If the water does not drain well not only in the dishwasher, but also in the rest of the sewage system, clean the siphon. In the case of a direct connection to the sewer, break through the blockage in the pipes with special tools.

Before disassembling the machine, press the “Drain” button.

Do a further check:

  1. Inspect the drain and fill hose. Maybe they are pinched or twisted.
  2. If water does not enter the tank, check the shut-off valve, it may be closed.
  3. Disconnect the fill hose from the PMM body. Clean it under running water.
  4. Clear the inlet filter of blockage and also check the filling valve.

Then open the hopper door:

  1. Below is the drain filter. Pull it out of the housing and remove the blockage.
  2. Remove any remaining water in the hole with a sponge.
  3. To check the pump impeller, remove the cap.
  4. To do this, press down on the cover and then pull it up.
  5. Put on gloves to clear the impeller from clogging.
  6. Inspect the drain hose, clean if necessary.

Replacement of side seals:

  • Open the door.
  • Remove the old seal around the perimeter of the door.
  • Install a new gasket in the same way as the previous seal.

  • Open the door and remove the screws around the perimeter.
  • Remove the control panel by unplugging the connectors.

Hinge replacement:

  1. Remove the dishwasher top panel by unscrewing the two screws on the back.
  2. After unscrewing the bolts, remove the lower front panel, and then the side cover.
  3. Having opened access to the loop, remove its spring from the hook.
  4. Remove the lock washer and detach the hinge from the housing.

Installation of a new part is carried out in the reverse order. The main thing is not to confuse the left and right loops, because they are different.

Sprinkler repair

Do you hear noises while the dishwasher is running? Probably, the rocker clings to the edges of the dishes. Check and set the dishes correctly or replace the nozzles on the sprayer:

  1. Remove the sprinkler from the PMM housing.
  2. If the base of the nozzle is cracked and no longer suitable for work, you need to pull it out.
  3. Squeeze it with pliers and remove it from the connector.
  4. Install the new base by pressing down on top.
  5. To install a new nozzle, cut a hole in the base with a knife.
  6. Install the nozzle into the base until the latches snap into place.

Troubleshooting a module

If the control module malfunctions, the Kandy dishwasher may not turn on. How to enable and run PMM? It will help to replace the main unit, it is not recommended to repair the board yourself.

  • Remove the six screws on the inside of the door that hold the control panel in place.
  • Raise the door and remove the control panel.
  • Hang the panel on the case.
  • To remove the module, disconnect the black wire from the sensor.
  • Unscrew the screws securing the module to the panel.
  • Disconnect the board wiring. Some wires are held in place with latches. Wring them out beforehand so as not to damage the wires.
  • Install the new module in reverse order.

Replacing the heating element relay

With a sudden surge in voltage, the relay on the board that controls the heater could burn out. If you decide to do it yourself, be careful. The electronic module is expensive, in some cases it needs a complete replacement, otherwise the heater will not work.

How to replace:

  • Remove the block from the panel as described above.
  • Remove the control board by opening the module latches.
  • Pay attention to the burnt parts.
  • Unsolder the relay contacts.
  • Having unsoldered the legs (contacts), remove the relay. Depending on the model, the legs can be from 3 to 4 pieces.
  • Buy a new relay by the serial number of the old one.
  • Solder the new relay in place.
