To get the correct temperature regime, you should cover the structure with oilcloth, a piece of linoleum, and unnecessary rags. Be sure to turn the composition once a month. If there are summer dry days, in order to maintain normal humidity, it is necessary to water the fertilizer from a hose. The smell is also important. If it is ammonia, then you overdid the amount of accelerator. Adding shredded paper will help.
When there is an unpleasant smell of rotten eggs, the problem is a lack of oxygen. The solution is to add shavings or straw to the composition. Normally, compost made in a quick way can be used after 2 months.

Preparation of fertilizer in a slow way
In the case of choosing a slow method of creating fertilizer, the preparation of the material is carried out only once, after which it is necessary to wait about 2 years. This method is also called cold. You will need to install a container in a pit located on some hill. Its depth is made the size of a spade bayonet. The compost pit must be wide enough. 
Such that a large number of logs, foliage, branches can freely fit in it. All components must be crushed. Then they are placed in a pit and fall asleep. Pre-shredded weeds are also suitable. You can’t just use their root system. Compost also often contains materials of natural origin – paper or fabric.
What materials should not be used
In addition to the list of materials that can be used, there is also a list of those that should not be in high-quality and correct compost.
So, in the composition of the fertilizer there is no place for such waste of animal origin as litter, bones, and so on. You can’t add fresh foliage and perennial weeds to it, as well as the root system. Plants that have any diseases are not to be used for making compost. It is not necessary to introduce fresh manure, garden waste, in which the presence of toxic substances or toxins is noted, into the top dressing. It is forbidden to place the remains of materials such as rubber, glass, metal, plastic film and other similar debris there.
