DIY vase decor

Old notes, a little glue and paints – and the most ordinary glass vase will acquire a unique individuality.

We need:

  • glass vase
  • old notes
  • glue for decoupage
  • Brushes
  • acrylic paints
  • acrylic lacquer

Vase decor

  • Tear the notes into small pieces (the more complex the shape of the vase, the smaller the pieces should be).
  • Cover a piece of paper with glue and place it on the vase. Run your brush over the paper and gently smooth out wrinkles with your finger. Do the same with the rest of the pieces of paper and glue the entire surface of the vase in one layer (make sure that the pieces go one after the other – creating an even – without tears – surface). Dry it.

When gluing the paper, step back a few millimeters from the top edge of the vase to in the process of using the vessel water did not get on the paper again.

  • Draw any pattern with acrylic paints. Cover the finished product with acrylic varnish.

Decoupage glue, varnish, paints and brushes can be purchased at store “Peredvizhnik”.
