Roses cut from felt can easily turn into a spectacular Christmas tree decoration and a great holiday gift. Follow the instructions!
We have already rolled roses from paper spirals and decorated the festive table with them (see the master class here). Now we use the same technique, but only in relation to wool (felt).
By the way, this Christmas ball ?? is inherently stylized
For work you will need: a ball of foam rubber (diameter – 5 cm), 16-20 circles of felt (diameter – 7,5 cm), leaves cut from felt, as well as pins, scissors, glue, button, woolen threads and a needle.
- Step 1. With the help of a needle, thread through the central axis of the ball.
- Step 2. We string a button on the thread and once again pierce the ball through and through, pulling out the needle on the other side of the ball at the first end of the thread.
- Step 3. We tie both ends of the thread with a knot to form a loop for hanging our ball.
- Step 4. We cut each felt circle in a spiral, as shown in the photo, so that the width of the spiral is approximately 1 cm.
- Step 5. Roll the felt roll starting at the outer end of the spiral. Secure the edge with glue. Apply glue to the base of the rose.
- Step 6. Glue the first rose to the ball next to the eyelet. For security, pin it with a few rolls (until the glue dries).
- Step 7. Continue covering the entire surface of the balloon with roses – using glue and pins.
- Step 8. When the glue is dry, remove the pins. Decorate the center of each flower with a decorative pin with a pearl bead at the end. Attach green felt sheets at the base of the loop.
- Our balloon is ready.
- Using the same technique, you can make such a funny little Christmas tree with your own hands.
