DIY Christmas cards
E-mail, of course, has its advantages, but it will not replace a real postcard, signed, and even more so – made with your own hand.
New Year cards
To make a postcard you will need:
Transferable gold; red, blue, green and white acrylic paints; maple leaf, PVA glue, hot melt glue gun, thin brushes, blue cardboard, letter “C”.
The graphic design of the letter is selected to taste – in a text editor. In addition, an elegant letter can be cut out of a magazine or found on the Internet.
In addition, you can simply draw it directly on the postcard and color it.
- Step by Step instructions
- 12 months: real men – real feelings. Don’t miss the 2010 calendar on WDay.ru!
- A sheet of cardboard – the basis of the postcard – is folded in half. The letter “C” is cut out and tried on in place, and then glued to the cardboard
- Along the contour, the letter is carefully greased with PVA glue. In order for the gold to stick, the composition is allowed to dry slightly – to a viscous state
- Maple leaf is pre-dried with a warm iron, and then coated with PVA glue on the front side
- After the PVA glue has slightly set, the transfer gold is pressed to the surface of the maple leaf
- The gold leaf is applied without pressure to the desired area. Gold particles that accidentally fall on the card are removed with a dry brush
- Using thin brushes and multi-colored acrylic compounds, the letter “C” is painted. The main thing here is imagination, there are no rules. “Snow” in the required amount is added using white paint
- Using a thin brush and white acrylic paint, add congratulations
- A maple leaf, coated on the back with hot melt glue, is pressed against the cardboard. The postcard is almost ready. There is very little left – to come up with and write the text of congratulations inside it
