You, of course, understand that the New Year’s treat would not be so tasty if it had to be eaten from paper plates and plastic forks. the more elegant the table is furnished, the stronger your guests’ appetite will grow. We offer you this time to light the holiday not only around the tree – but also on the table! :))
DIY candlesticks
Bend a piece of wire into a circle. Place the spruce branches one on top of the other and tie them tightly to the wire.
Cut the remaining wire into pieces of the same size, about 10 cm each. Stick these pieces with one end into the candles, and the other into the thick of spruce branches.
If you are afraid that the candle will fall out, twist the wire around the base of the wreath. In the same way (sticking in the wire), attach the apples to the wreath. This wreath is a great addition to the cake.
You will need:
- fir branches
- green threads
- thin wire
- small red apples “Chinese”
- red candles
Tie several spruce legs into a knot. Stick a long colored candle in the center.
Attach one end of the thick wire to the twigs, and bend the other in a spiral around the candle.
Stick anise seeds on the wire (you can use plasticine). (Look for anise in the mulled wine spice sets).
Surely on your New Year’s table there will be not only fried goose and Olivier salad, but also a lot of “small” snacks – nuts, fruits, berries.
Pour them into tall glasses, muffin tins, or just cute cups and fix them in the center with a candle. We bet your friends will not immediately realize that this beauty can be eaten?
Buying a candle is not a problem. The problem is to buy a candle in a beautiful candlestick.
Therefore, we offer you a hassle-free, but creative option: paste over ordinary glasses with gold or colored lace, and place candles-tablets inside.
Isn’t it a candlestick? Plus, if your girlfriend doesn’t read ELLE GIRL, she certainly won’t. ?
Even the most ordinary plate can be made to shine festively.
An ordinary wooden clothespin and a candle and a spruce twig attached to it are enough.
Traditions are sometimes pleasant to break. How about the sea rustling on the New Year’s table in the middle of winter? ? Buy some blue candles and melt them in a water bath. To do this, pour water into a saucepan, place a smaller container in it, cut candles there and put the structure on fire. When the mass is completely melted, gently pour it into large shells.
Make sure that the tips of the wick do not sink into the paraffin, but remain outside.
Attention! Don’t play with fire! Observe fire safety precautions!
