DIY carnival costumes for children and adults
A New Year’s parade of carnival costumes took place in Barnaul. Princesses and monkeys, horses and dragons, three heroes and a diver … We offer you to admire the little participants and choose the best image.
We chose such a costume for the baby, because the monkey is a symbol of the coming year. And besides, all girls at masquerades usually dress up as princesses or snowflakes. All these little things are no longer interesting. And the monkey costume is funny, to say the least.
The clown costume was made to order. The main thing is that it turned out to be very bright!
We decided: let there be a carnival of sweets. The parents made the costume themselves. Now they are real masters and can create anything from plastic and foam rubber!
Stepa just really likes horses.
Mom and her daughter decided to dress up in an unusual way. And they did it! The costumes were made by ourselves. The hardest part was making the decorations.
The costume of your favorite fairytale heroine. Perhaps this is the most popular girly look of all time.
Another favorite hero – this time with the boys.
Arina is dancing at the Autograph studio. So the choice of fancy dress was obvious.
Vanya and his two cousins appeared in the form of three heroes. Chain mail, shield, helmet – everything is as real! By the way, all the details of the costume were finalized by the parents themselves.
Natasha chose this costume herself: she wanted to be a fairytale heroine.
Ariana wanted something bright, cheerful. The costume was made by my mother, having spent exactly … 10 minutes on it.
Another Malvina is a very cute and touching image.
One of the smallest participants in the carnival dressed up as a bunny, because the bunnies are sitting under the tree. Mom made the costume herself.
Vanin’s favorite book is The Adventures of Buratino, so he dressed up as Artemon.
For the friendly ghost of Vera, this is the first New Year’s outing in his life. Mom sewed a suit for her.
Savely liked the dragon’s costume right away: now he wears it even at home.
In the year of the Monkey, Timur decided to dress up accordingly.
Together with his mother, a ladybug, Artemy represented the forest kingdom at the carnival. The hedgehog costume was sewn for three days. This is where imagination and ingenuity came in handy – for example, hedgehog thorns were made from a sponge for washing a car.
“I like the Snow Queen because she is beautiful!” – said Masha.
Miroslava chose the costume herself – she insisted on just such a fruity look.
Dima wanted to be the most important person at the Christmas tree.
East is a delicate matter. Even first-graders know this.
This is the original image Matvey chose when he was shown photos of different costumes. The base, of course, was bought, and everything was trimmed and decorated by my mother.
We sewed the gnome’s costume ourselves. We spent two days, but for the sake of such beauty, time is not a pity.
Both Nastya and her mother liked this costume very much.
The hare costume was sewn for a long time – more than two weeks. But it was worth it!
A bright original costume, and the most valuable thing about it is that it is made by hand.
Mom sewed the costume of a cheerful mouse for Kiryusha herself.
Ira is very fond of dolls, so she herself decided to dress like this.
“The Indians are the coolest,” says Clementy. They sewed the costume ourselves, but it was not difficult. It took much longer to choose an image. Before the Indian, there were other ideas, for example, the vampire.
The idea with Zorro was suggested to Yarik by his mother.
The kid loves to swim, so he decided to be a diver for a while. A little creativity, a couple of plastic bottles, swimming goggles – and the suit is ready!
Mom says that Lisa is a monkey since birth. Loves to wiggle booty, hang on to something and has amazing flexibility.
Andryusha is a real king: serious, loves to command and is always in the spotlight. By the way, my mother sewed the costume herself.
The smallest participant in the carnival (she is only 9 months old) got tired of the holiday and decided to sleep. And she dressed up as a mini-Bagheera, because her favorite toy is a soft panther.
Voting is over. Due to the cheating of votes among several participants, the winner is determined by the editorial board. We ask Timur’s parents to come for a gift at 109 Socialist Avenue, office 222 on Tuesday, December 30, from 9:00 to 16:00, or contact the editorial office by tel. 62-89-77 (Julia Averina).
