By design, do-it-yourself candy bouquets can be made stable – desktop. In this case, boxes, round reels, tins and other improvised materials are used as the basis.

The bouquet can also be in the form of a traditional “bag”, which is handed to the addressee in the hands and placed in a vase.

How to assemble a bouquet of sweets with your own hands: step by step instructions

Step 1. We collect flowers

The most important and time-consuming step in our work is to pack each candy in paper so that we get beautiful roses of different colors, as similar as possible to living ones.

To do this, we cut out squares commensurate with candy from yellow and white paper. We fold the workpiece with an accordion, cut off the upper edge with a wave or a semicircle. The smaller the diameter of the semicircle, the more carved the edge of the “petal” will be.

We stretch each petal a little so that it becomes voluminous. We put the candy inside, wrap it and fix it at the base with a thread.

The next layer of “rose” can be a different color, a slightly different shape – experiment! After all, in nature there are no exactly the same colors.

The more layers, the brighter your “flower”. Fluff the petals, press lightly on top so that there is air between the layers.

Step 2. We fix the flower on the “stem”

The role of the stalk will be performed by a wooden skewer. Place the flower on one end of the skewer, secure with glue.

Step 3. Cut out the leaves and sepals

From green paper, cut out a rectangle in proportion to the flowers. Cut diagonally, turn over and glue down the middle. You will have a cone. Straighten, stretch the paper – it became like a living leaf.

We cut out the sepals from a rectangle of green paper, folding it with an accordion. The teeth can be of different sizes and shapes. Wrap the base of the rose with this blank, fix it with glue, add a couple of leaves and straighten it. Your flower is almost ready!

Step 4. Prepare the base

Cover the round reel of adhesive tape and glue it with a cloth. Natural fabrics look good. In our case, it is 100% linen, burlap, dense plain cotton, felt, and so on are suitable. The main thing is that the fabric adheres well to the glue and harmonizes with other elements of the composition.

Cut out a circle from cardboard, a little larger than a scotch tape reel in diameter. Also cover it with fabric and secure the edges with glue.

From a floral sponge or a piece of foam, cut a hemisphere commensurate with the diameter of the scotch reel. Cover it with golden paper, secure with glue.

Assemble all the base elements with a glue gun.

Step 5. Assembling and decorating the composition

The most crucial moment – we “plant” our flower blanks in the hemisphere. Try to combine colors and sizes of roses and buds so that your composition is stable and visually harmonious. Secure each element with glue so that the bouquet is reliable and does not crumble. Alternate flowers and decorative elements – in our case, decorative sisal threads.

Step 6 Assemble and Decorate the Base of the Candy Bouquet

Our candy bouquet is almost ready. It remains only to decorate the base. We lay out rectangular chocolates in individual packaging around the circumference of the bobbin, glue each one. After the whole bobbin is in the “columns” of chocolate, tighten this base with tape. Tie a pretty bow. Your candy bouquet is ready!

Give your friends and family pleasant emotions. After all, you see, a bouquet of sweets, assembled with your own hands, is a worthy independent gift!
