Today, the household appliance market offers dishwashers with a depth of not only 55 cm, but also 50. You can also often meet buyers who are looking for very shallow machines: 45 or 40 cm. Having made a small analysis of the assortment of the largest online stores in the Russian Federation, the experts found that it is impossible to find a model with a depth of less than 48 cm in the domestic market. There are no cars for 45, 40 cm, and even more so 35 cm, at least in our country.
But compared to 55 cm, a minimum depth of 48 cm opens up opportunities for saving usable space. The downside is that such parameters are typical only for compact small-sized machines with less capacity and performance.
A compact machine is not suitable for many people for a number of reasons – it can hold a maximum of 8 sets of dishes, is noisy and has reduced functionality. By choosing a small model, you will win a dozen centimeters of usable area, but lose in terms of the technical capabilities of the machine.
