The circulatory system is a system that distributes blood rich in oxygen and nutrients throughout the body and at the same time removes harmful metabolic products from the tissues. This system consists of the heart and blood vessels: arteries, veins and capillaries. Cardiovascular diseases are a scourge of the modern world and for many years they have been ranked first among the causes of death, and in many cases their consequence is a significant impairment of physical fitness.

Cardiovascular diseases – definition

Cardiovascular diseases are cardiovascular diseases, which are the most common cause of death in Poland. In our country, the incidence of cardiovascular ailments is much higher than in the West. Although in today’s medicine there are very good diagnostic methods and modern treatment methods, almost 200 die every year due to cardiovascular problems. people. Cardiovascular disease can be caused by many factors, including an inadequate diet and a small amount of physical activity. Cardiovascular diseases can be treated more or less effectively, limiting their progression and reducing the risk of dangerous complications. However, there are also diseases in which pharmacological agents and surgical procedures will not help much if we do not change our lifestyle and get rid of harmful habits at the same time. This type of procedure, if implemented early enough, can also largely protect us against the development of cardiovascular diseases.

The substances contained in the dietary supplement with Antarctic krill oil, which is available on the Medonet Market, have a beneficial effect on the circulatory system.

Types of cardiovascular diseases and their symptoms

The most important diseases of the circulatory system are given depending on the structures affected by them:

  1. heart: ischemic heart disease, i.e. acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, myocardial defects, valvular disease, arrhythmias and conduction disturbances. A typical symptom of coronary artery disease is chest pain, during which the patient has a feeling of tightness and crushing in the chest. This pain is usually located behind the breastbone and attacks us when we are exposed to excessive stress or during physical exertion. Additionally, there may be problems with proper breathing and nausea;
  2. veins: chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, venous thromboembolism – varicose veins are characterized by a permanent expansion of the veins in the form of plexuses or cords. Blood flowing in such veins flows much slower because it has to flow uphill. Dilating veins lose their elasticity. To improve their condition, it is worth using the monastery Mazidło on the skin in the area of Varix Klimuszko varicose veins;
  3. arterial hypertension – occurs when blood pressure is elevated above normal. This condition is characterized by headaches and insomnia, palpitations, tinnitus, scotoma in front of the eyes, and even dizziness.
  4. heart failure – is a condition where the heart does not work properly. It is unable to pump enough blood for the body to receive the nutrients and the right amount of oxygen. In patients with heart failure, edema is commonly seen as a result of water retention, as well as dyspnoea and fatigue.
  5. heart attack – occurs when the blood supply to the heart muscle has been lost for a long time. Myocardial infarction is an ailment that affects men more often, especially after the age of 40. Factors increasing the risk of a heart attack are obesity and arterial hypertension. Sick people complain of severe pain behind the breastbone,
  6. cardiac arrhythmia – these are heart rhythm disturbances, during which there is an abnormal heart rhythm,
  7. stroke – is a condition in which blood circulation is suddenly disturbed in the brain. We can distinguish two types of this condition: ischemic stroke or hemorrhagic stroke. In patients with this disease, there is paresis of the limbs in the leg or arm and asymmetry of the lower part of the face within the mouth,
  8. rheumatic heart disease – otherwise known as rheumatic fever, which leads to inflammation not only of the joints, but also of the heart. It manifests itself as breathlessness and chest pains, especially behind the breastbone. It can radiate to the back, neck or left shoulder. Pain increases when coughing and lying down, moreover, some may experience tachycardia, palpitations and swelling of the ankles and lower legs,
  9. Raynaud’s syndrome – is a vasomotor disorder characterized by excessive contraction of blood vessels, especially when exposed to cold and intense emotions. The consequence is that the fingers or toes may turn pale (sometimes it can be the nose or the auricles),
  10. Cardiopulmonary syndrome – otherwise known as the pulmonary heart, it arises due to chronic pulmonary artery hypertension, e.g. in the course of chronic bronchitis. The pulmonary heart is characterized by palpitations, shortness of breath, fainting, cold hands and feet, and cyanosis of the skin that can even extend to the earlobes, lips and nose.
  11. lymphedema – swelling of the subcutaneous tissue as a result of lymphatic stagnation caused by a congenital defect or acquired damage to the lymph vessels. Initially, the swelling is tender, then hardens. Causes: post-inflammatory, parasitic infections, neoplasms, post-traumatic, postoperative.
