Disabled caregiver child allowance, monthly payment (size, children)
Taking care of a baby with a disability is much more difficult than a normal child. After all, these children need special products and therapeutic measures. To make it easier for the parents of such babies, the state pays an allowance for a disabled child. Thanks to such material assistance, the baby can be provided with everything necessary and he will be able to adapt in society.
Disabled child care allowance
Most of the worries associated with caring for a child with disabilities fall on the shoulders of the parents. But the state provides for some benefits and cash payments that greatly facilitate the upbringing of such a child. To get them, you need to visit the nearest social security body or a multifunctional center and draw up all the necessary documents.
The allowance for a disabled child is assigned by the social protection authorities.
The allowance for caring for such a baby is assigned only to able-bodied citizens who are forced to give up work, since their child needs constant supervision. The amount depends on the degree of relationship:
- parents or guardians of the baby are assigned a monthly compensation of 5500 rubles;
- other citizens caring for a disabled person – 1200 rubles.
Upon reaching the age of 18, this allowance is allowed only for disabled people of group I.
Pension size for a child with disabilities
This financial assistance is assigned to kids from the moment of paperwork until the end of the period of disability or the child reaches the age of majority. Today the pension is about 12 thousand rubles. After 18 years of age, children with disabilities are provided with assistance in other volumes, depending on the degree of disability. Pension amounts for disabled children:
- Group I – 11 903 RUB
- Group II – 9019 p.
- III group – 4 p.
It should be borne in mind that children with disabilities who have not reached the age of majority are not divided into any groups.
The amount of EDV largely depends on the extent to which the child’s family has used a set of social services. In order to receive the maximum monetary compensation, it is necessary to completely abandon the NSO. In this case, the amount will reach 2 rubles. Upon receipt of a full set of social services, the amount of additional payments will be equal to 527 rubles. The NSO includes the following costs:
- Providing the family with medicines and medical products – 807 rubles.
- Provision of vouchers to specialized children’s sanatoriums – 124 rubles.
- Free use of urban intercity transport – 116 rubles.
Please note that a child with disabilities and a childhood invalid who needs constant attention and is unable to move independently is entitled to a second free transport ticket and a voucher to the resort for escort.
