This week in Paris hosted a private show of the Pre-Fall 2016 collection – the first that the team of the House created without the participation of Raf Simons. Dior’s Creative Director of Makeup, Peter Philips, has created a new look for the show and lookbook with a lip accent.
“I have developed a contemporary make-up that is both rock and roll and sophisticated. We accentuated the lips with a deep, rich shade of red wine. The eyes are barely highlighted with natural colors. The tone was also kept naturally even, keeping the naturally light skin of the models, ”explains Peter.
TONE
“In contrast to the bright lips, I have created a velvety and flawlessly even tone using products from the new Diorskin Forever range. I started by using Diorskin Forever & Ever Wear Base, which enhances makeup lasting, adds light to the face and makes the skin look more perfect. Then I applied Diorskin Forever Foundation Fluid using a new sponge that helps to thoroughly work all the difficult areas of the face.
Finally, as a third step, I lightly touched their faces with Diorskin Forever & Ever Control Loose Powder, which is both light and invisible, removing the oily sheen from the T-zone. The final touch is a delicate touch of light on the top of the cheekbones, which I created with Diorskin Nude Air Glowing Gardens from the spring makeup collection, ”continues the makeup artist.
LIPS
“For my lips, I chose a rich wine-plum shade of Diorific matte lipstick. The result is real rock and roll chic, which allows you to always be in the spotlight, – says Peter
