Indications for the use of this system of therapeutic nutrition can be cardiovascular pathologies, hypertension, heart defects and rheumatism. The purpose of the diet is to help normalize metabolism, improve blood circulation, and spare the digestive organs and nervous system. Diet table number 10 is characterized by the restriction of free liquids (including drinks and soups) and salt.
Substances that excite the cardiovascular and central nervous system are excluded: foods rich in cholesterol, drinks containing alcohol, natural coffee and strong tea. Foods that cause flatulence are limited. It is mainly recommended to consume alkaline foods and products – dairy products, milk, fruits. During the diet, salt is not used in cooking. Fish and meat are boiled. There should be about 5-6 meals per day in moderation. Dinner should be three hours before bedtime.

Permitted Products:

Diet recipes number 10
Soufflé from boiled meat. Ingredients: 5 ml sunflower oil, 1 egg, 5 g flour, 30 ml milk, 50 g boiled beef. Turn the meat through a meat grinder two or three times. From the dried flour and milk, prepare a white sauce and, stirring thoroughly, add in small portions to the minced meat. Separate the egg white from the yolk. Add the yolk to the puree, salt and mix. Whip the protein into a thick foam, gradually introduce it into the meat puree. Put the finished mass in a frying pan, greased with vegetable oil, and steam the soufflé. Drizzle with oil before serving.
Steamed meatloaf stuffed with scrambled eggs. Ingredients: 5 ml vegetable oil, 10 ml milk, 1 egg, 20 ml water, 15 g wheat bread, 75 g beef. Rinse beef and with bread soaked in water, pass through a meat grinder twice, mix thoroughly and beat out. Put the prepared mass in a thin layer on a cloth moistened with water. Boiled meat with vegetable stew. Ingredients: 5 ml of vegetable oil, 85 ml of vegetable broth, 5 g of flour, 15 g of tomato, 20 g of green peas, 50 g of potatoes, 30 g of carrots, 5 g of parsley root, 10 g of onions, 50 g of boiled beef.
