Large temporary breaks between meals are unacceptable. The method of culinary processing of products also has a certain medicinal value. When preparing side dishes and salads, the components should not be excessively chopped – for this purpose it is better to use a knife or a coarse grater.

Diet number 3 for constipation: what is possible, what is not?

If there are no medical contraindications, then fruits and vegetables are best consumed raw, apples, cauliflower, leafy lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots are especially preferred. With good tolerance, it is allowed to use young green beans, green peas, white cabbage.

Foods allowed on diet number 3:

  • Food rich in fiber, namely: sauerkraut, various fruits and vegetables, legumes and cereals.

  • Crispy soaked bread, wheat bread made from wholemeal flour, rye bread.

  • Soups in fat-free weak fish or meat broth, vegetable and fruit soups, cold soups, beetroot soups and fresh cabbage borscht.

  • Fish, poultry and meat of low-fat varieties – baked, boiled.

  • Olive, butter, refined, corn, sunflower oil.

  • One egg per day.

  • Fruits and vegetables are available both baked and boiled, as well as raw. Recommended prunes, apricots, figs, plums, rowan jam.

  • Yogurt, cottage cheese, sour cream, milk.

  • Cookies and various pastry products.

  • Tea with milk, weak tea, natural weak coffee with milk, fruit and berry juices.

It should be excluded:

  • Kissels, very hot dishes, pureed cereals.

  • Sweet buns and bread made from the highest grades of flour.

  • Fatty fish, meat and poultry, canned fish and meat with butter, smoked meats.

  • Hot sauces, cooking and animal fats, strong tea, cocoa, pepper, mustard, horseradish.

  • Semolina, rice, vermicelli.

  • Mushrooms, onions, garlic, legumes, radishes, radishes.

  • Kissel, quince, blueberries.

  • Cream products, chocolate.

  • Semolina and white rice are undesirable.
