A beautiful voice and a clear pronunciation from nature is a rare gift that fate does not give to everyone. In most cases, correct speech is the result of a lot of work on diction, and exercises are an excellent tool in achieving this goal. Beautiful diction largely depends on how articulation is developed.
In order to convey your thoughts clearly and clearly in words, you need constant training in diction and exercises for the development of articulatory muscles.
To improve diction, all exercises and tests must be performed in front of a large mirror. This will allow you to constantly monitor the correctness of their implementation.
Repeat each exercise at least 10 times.
Face
1. An imaginary mosquito sits in turn on the forehead, then on the cheeks, then on the chin. Drive it away with movements of the muscles of the face. A flock of mosquitoes arrives, the whole face moves.
2. Knead a piece of imaginary dough with your face and hands at the same time. Knead forehead, cheeks, jaw, lips.
lips
1. Kiss. We stretch our lips forward in the form of a tu.e.chki / proboscis, then stretch it into a smile. At the same time, the teeth are closed, the neck, shoulders are relaxed, only the muscles of the lips work.
2. Contempt. The upper lip rises and reveals the upper teeth, then lowers (imagine that the lip is pulled by the strings). The lower lip is at rest. The teeth are closed.
3. Talking doll. The lower lip descends and exposes the lower teeth, then is released into place. The teeth are closed.
4. Alternate 2 and 3 exercises.
5. Cross. The lips are extended in the “proboscis” position, holding the shape of the tue, moving crosswise: up, down, right, left. The end point is fixed. The jaws are motionless, the teeth are closed.
6. Circle proboscis. The movement of the proboscis in a circle, smooth and slow.
7. Gloves. The mouth is open. Both lips are lifted, revealing the jaws, stretched and, like two gloves, are pulled over the teeth. After fixing, they return to their place.
8. Snorting horse. To relieve excess stress. The lips are relaxed, exhaling through the lips, imitating a horse’s snort, shaking his head.
Language
1. Snake sting. The tongue is pulled out with a point, a “needle” and removed back.
2. Cheek prick. We prick the inner parts of the cheeks with the tongue, vigorously and briefly (like an injection), alternately.
3. Fold the tongue with a tu.e.chkoy and move back and forth.
4. «Taffy». The mouth is open, the tongue stuck to the sky, gradually open the mouth even more.
5. Clicking. Click with the middle of the tongue.
6. Tongue massage. Bite your tongue from the tip to the middle and from the sides.
7. Try to reach the tongue to the nose, to the chin, to the cheek to the right, to the left.
8. Bowl and dog. Lick an imaginary plate clean.
9. Roll your tongue over your teeth. As if removing the leftover food. Count the upper teeth, and then the lower ones, touching them with the tip of the tongue.
10. Try to remove the imaginary toffee from the lower teeth, and then the upper ones.
11. Bring the tip of the tongue to a small tongue, as if painting the hard palate with a “brush tongue”.
12. Excavator. We protrude the flat tongue completely, form a cup, bending the edges of the tongue, then we rake the imaginary soil into the oral cavity. You can achieve the position of a cup by imagining that you are holding a drop of expensive wine on your tongue.
13. Alternate different positions of the tongue: tu.e.chka, snake sting, flat cake (relaxed tongue), cup.
4. «Chatterbox». Rapid dangling of the tongue between the lips with the sound «la-la-la». To relax the tongue.
15. «Duck». Chatterbox to the sides, quick dangling of the tongue to the sides with the same sound «la-la-la».
16. Development of the jaw. Rest your fist on your chin, open your mouth wide through the resistance of your hand, pronouncing consonant sounds in alphabetical order, connecting them with the sound “A”: BA-VA-GA-DA-ZHA-ZA-KA-LA-MA-NA-PA-RA- SA-TA-FA-HA-TSA-CHA-SHA-SHCHA.
17. Remove your hand, say the same thing without resistance.
18. With your mouth slightly open, shake your head in different directions. Achieve relaxation of the lower jaw by combining this with sound.
