Dicloberl retard is a non-steroidal drug with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antirheumatic and antipyretic properties. Due to the fact that Dicloberl retard is a preparation with a delayed release of the active substance, it is not recommended for use in diseases requiring an immediate drug response.
Dicloberl retard – the active substance of the preparation
The manufacturer of the drug is the German company Berlin-Chemie. Packs of 10 or 20 white, hard, long-acting gelatin capsules. Each capsule contains 100 mg diclofenac sodium and sucrose, corn starch, shellac, talc, sodium hydroxide, gelatin, titanium dioxide, and ammonium methacrylate copolymer. The main active ingredient of the drug Dicloberl retard jest diclofenac sodium, i.e. a non-steroidal substance with a strong anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effect. It works by blocking the synthesis of prostaglandins and stops ADP and collagen-induced platelet aggregation.

Contraindications and side effects in the case of using Dicloberl retard
It is forbidden to use the drug Dicloberl retard if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of the drug and if you have ever had asthma attacks, breathing difficulties or acute rhinitis after using non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The drug should not apply also in cases of: heart diseases and circulatory disorders, cerebrovascular diseases, coagulation disorders, ulcer diseases or bleeding of the stomach or duodenum, liver or kidney failure, active bleeding. It is imperative to inform your doctor if you are taking other medications, especially anti-inflammatory ones. Use each drug can make some side effects.
