Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio, Apple founder Lauren Powell Jobs’ widow, and billionaire Brian Sheth created the Amazon Forest Foundation to support local people in the Amazon forest and protect the biodiversity of the region. In the summer of 2019, in addition to the taiga in Alaska and Siberia, the Amazonian rainforests are also on fire. Three co-founders of Amazon Forest will donate $5 million to the foundation.
