Dressing up with famous designers is not only the prerogative of celebrities and millionaires. Claridge’s London Hotel is now worn by Diane von Fürstenberg. And it suits him very much! We look at photos of luxurious interiors.
Fashion editors like to call her Princess Diana. And although the designer Diane von Furstenberg officially said goodbye to this title after her divorce from the Austrian prince Egon von Furstenberg many years ago, the memories of her former status, like the resounding surname, remain with her to this day. On the other hand, who are interested in legal subtleties, if we are talking about a woman who was not afraid during the period of dominance of male trends in fashion to appeal to the beautiful half of humanity with the appeal “Feel like a woman – put on a dress!”
By the way, Diana von Fürstenberg, like Lady GaGa, was awarded one of the most prestigious fashion awards – the Accessories Council Exchange.

Claridge’s is one of the oldest and most luxurious hotels in the British capital (what can I say, if John Galliano himself decorates the Christmas tree for him, and in order for the restaurant’s chef Gordon Ramsay to prepare dinner right in front of you, you need to book a table six months in advance). For the refined interiors of the 30s, the hotel was nicknamed the Art Deco diamond. Diana von Fürstenberg had to come up with a new frame for him. Joining forces with decorator Oliver Gelbsman, she has created for Claridge’s a collection of furniture, home furnishings and a line of textiles featuring Fürstenberg’s signature bold geometric and floral prints.
Fürstenberg has added her iconic geometric prints to iconic Claridge’s interiors.

Bold combinations of rich colors have added special audacity to the hotel. The designer decorated the walls of the apartments with her own photographs taken during her travels in Southeast Asia, Africa and Europe. So easily, without breaking traditions and, as in the case of the famous dress, highlighting all the advantages, Diana von Furstenberg gave Claridge’s a new “wardrobe” and a second youth. “I wanted the walls of Claridge’s suites to speak,” admitted Fürstenberg. “After all, so many celebrities have stayed in them – from royalty to Kate Moss.”
Furniture and fabrics from the collection designed by Diana for Claridge’s will soon be available in stores.
