At the first stage, we must open 502 centers in which our doctors and specialists will be able to provide advice and assistance to people in maintaining and strengthening their health. “
According to the minister, it will be possible to apply to the centers for advice, undergo initial diagnostics free of charge, determine risk factors and receive individual recommendations on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, in particular, on nutrition, physical activity, sleep patterns, living conditions, work, study and rest. …
“To enable these centers to carry out these functions, we are equipping them with the necessary equipment,” Golikova emphasized.
The network of such centers will become one of the main infrastructures for the program of promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population of Russia, where today alcoholism and smoking have become the main negative factor. This, along with poor nutrition, leads to the risk of cardiovascular disease.
Leo Bokeria, president of the League for the Health of the Nation, noted that Russians need 140 open-heart surgeries.
“Over the past 10 years, the number of open heart surgeries has increased from 6 to 32 – a positive trend,” he said.
