The Madrid Districts of Salamanca and Retiro, celebrate from September 29 to October 12 a Tapas Route with the motto “Devour Tapas Salamanca-Retiro “
The Initiative is carried out by the FEHR (Spanish Federation of Hotels and Restaurants) y La Viña (Hospitality Business Association of the Community of Madrid) within the framework of the digital initiative Taste Tasting Madrid.
It is sponsored by the brewery firm Mahou San Miguel and this year the sponsorship of the contest is in charge of the chef David Muñoz .
There will be a total of 52 local participants who will offer their customers a tapa and a beer during those days for the price of € 2,40 and as a novelty, the tapas appear at € 1 if it is requested without consumption of a drink.
Ceviches, Iberian crocantis, cheeks, mini burgers, salads, cheesecakes, and the Madrid tripe croquettes they will be among others the delicacies offered by the local participants of the event.
The little ones of the house will also be present at the contest, since a selection of tapas has been made so that they too can enjoy the event and accompany the whole family on such a fun day of touring the district’s bars.
They will have at their disposal a brochure with hobbies to make their stay in the premises even more fun and they will be able to participate in the raffle of a Nintendo Wii ...
Among the participating consumers, it will also be raffled 2 iPad Mini among those who vote for the best tapas to taste through the mobile application designed for this purpose that can be downloaded from the event’s website.
