Despondency is an emotional state of hopelessness and disappointment, accompanied by a complete breakdown.

In the Christian tradition, discouragement is a great sin.

Despondency is almost spiritual death. The person seems to be there, but in reality he is not. Mentally, he’s dead.

Psychologists say it’s easy to live happily. Why are there so many sad people around? Because the simplest things do not reach us immediately. And our life becomes joyful not always immediately, not out of the blue, but after a certain training.

For example, a person began to play sports, got involved, developed the habit of getting up every morning, running, and it’s good for him. Ask him how he runs? He says it’s easy and simple.

The same is true for a person who woke up, smiled, set himself up for a good day. But before that, I worked at the Distance, at least did the “Good” exercise, learned to control my emotions, developed the Maximum Life for myself. Then — yes, he rejoices, he is happy, and for him it is easy and simple. And others did not do all this huge work, for them ordinary everyday joy is a great work.

In this sense, a person is a creature that often seeks to reduce energy costs. People think like this: it’s normal, what’s bad, the main thing is that you don’t need to make special efforts. People know perfectly well that it is easy to live joyfully, but for some time you have to make efforts, work on your life, your mood, but you don’t want to work. Therefore, it is better for some to remain in the dull state that is, because it is calm and comfortable. And that’s it.

Is it possible to always, every day, live with joy? Yes, quite, if only you are mentally healthy and understand why you need it. How to do it? — See Positive Mindset and other related articles.
