This definition – designer – is usually associated with something expensive, beautiful and very high quality. We do not undertake to judge how much this repair cost and how good it is, but we have questions about beauty.
For example, an apartment that once cost a lot of money: they asked for 150 million rubles for a multi-room dwelling. But do you want to live in such interiors? Questions.
It is as if all the best is collected here: carpets, Chinese wind chime, figurines, a cozy lampshade in the style of the 60s, a modern chandelier, an abundance of various patterns on textiles, arched openings and many rugs, rugs, paths.
A two-room apartment in Norilsk is rented out for as much as 45 thousand rubles. Why so expensive? The footage is modest, 58 meters. “Designer repair”, – the realtor laconically informs. We look at the photo: casually painted walls, budget furniture from “Ikea”, creepy wallpaper with large flowers, an obvious overkill of blue, a dryer in the middle of the room, a leopard blanket on the bed and a towel on the door. It seems that we have considered everything. Where is the design?
“Designer renovation, walls aligned,” the ad says. The walls are really the most remarkable thing about this apartment. For some reason, a relief pattern in the form of a rose is sculpted in the living room – it looks so amazing that the jaw drops. Against the background of this wall, even the entrance hall, painted to resemble a savannah with a lion, fades.
The designer of this interior seems to gravitate towards lilac. The term, by the way, was coined by Clifford Simack, the famous science fiction writer – in reality, this color does not exist. More precisely, it exists, but only in this apartment. All shades of lavender, purple and blue are combined with green. More precisely, they do not combine, but coexist.
“Expensive designer renovation with excellent furnishings,” writes the realtor. Okay, let’s see what we have here. Monograms, shine, polish, tubs with artificial flowers, fragments of stucco … Even the ceiling is painted! And the combination of a terrible picture above the bed and the bedspread makes you want to cry.
The most designer thing here is the tiger, which is just about to jump on a potential renter. There is no point in even looking at the rest of the photos, nothing more beautiful will be. Is that a TV, awkwardly sticking out of the wall, and a kitchen table covered with oilcloth.
What is so special about the design of this apartment, we still do not understand. An ordinary apartment, standard layout, banal furniture. But the advertiser thinks everything looks very stylish.
This apartment, for a minute, is rented for 150 thousand rubles a month. And not at all in the center of Moscow, but in Nizhny Novgorod. Maybe the setting here is really on fire. But from the photo there is no way to understand what this apartment is all about. A set of shots: a TV on the wall, a flower (it looks like an artificial one) in the corner, a closet and a toilet bowl with a watering can close-up. Everything! But there are already 4 rooms here.
Regular odnushka, not too big, inexpensive. It seems clean, no complaints. But no, the renovation is still designer. A huge corner sofa, a touching rug on the floor – this is a hall, it is also a bedroom. The combination of a blue sofa and a tiger-print doormat makes a kitchen unforgettable. And a strict hallway, similar to an office in some office.
Someday it will become clear to everyone that bright facades and a poster with the lights of a large overseas city do not yet make a designer renovation. Even if it’s an apartment in Sochi.
By the way, complex lambrequins, red walls and a ceiling with plasterboard waves do not make designer repairs either. Rather, they give out a not very good taste of the one who ordered this very repair. All this is the last century. And even a fake fireplace will not save the situation.
This apartment was decorated in oriental style. But only the kitchen turned out decently, if we take into account its initially unsuccessful layout. Everything else … Dirty pink curtains, absolutely hellish photomurals over the bed, an empty wall with a lonely hanging TV – well, an average hotel room. And not at all “an irresistible apartment with a designer renovation.”
This apartment has two rooms. But for some reason the author of the ad filmed only one. From the second, only a chandelier and a fragment of curtains with a complex lambrequin remained. However, in the first beauty, and so it is enough. “Elite apartment with designer renovation” – have you felt all the greatness of this interior?
