Open shelves
It used to be that closed cabinets were purchased in order to place as many things as possible, and even kitchen sets were selected with a large number of cabinets. In the Scandinavian style, instead of closed cabinets, it is proposed to use open shelves (even in the kitchen) and place everything you need on them. Even the dishes on the shelves look quite cute in the spirit of the times.
Large amount of wood
A lot of wood is used in the decoration of the room: wooden furniture, countertops, decorative elements, accessories and even kitchen utensils can be made of valuable wood species.
Walls in white, beige or gray
White (milky) or gray flowers are a real squeak of recent times. All polls began to paint the walls in their rooms in these shades and dilute light colors with bright accessories to add a little expression.
Monochrome paintings
This became a real peak of popularity, and everyone, as one, rushed to buy monochrome paintings, which, by the way, look no less original than their colored counterparts, and are able to decorate even such a restrained interior that assumes a Scandinavian style. The main thing is to place them in the right place.
Massive pieces of furniture
No plush elements and deliberately pretentious accessories – everything is simple, concise and this makes it even more attractive. In the Scandinavian style, there is no place for inconvenient objects, everything is thought out to the smallest detail and is aimed primarily at ease of use.
