The variety has many advantages. The fruits ripen in a very short time; young cucumbers can be harvested 1,5 months after planting. “Herman” bushes well, vigorous bushes, formed by 6-7 ovaries. The fruits grow in bunches. Each grows up to 9 cucumbers. From 1 sq. m you can collect 10-12 kg of the crop; with good care, the yield increases.

  • Seedlings are very weak. Cucumbers do not tolerate transplanting well; during this period, most of the seedlings die. It is better to grow this variety using seed methods, rather than seedlings.
  • “Herman” is prone to rust and pests. Spray crops with chemicals to prevent aphids and spider mites.

Cucumbers of this variety are not very dense flesh. This can be both a disadvantage and an advantage.

When buying a variety “Herman”, pay attention to the quality and color of the seeds. They must be treated with Thiram. If the seeds are natural, then they are fake.
