- Seedlings are very weak. Cucumbers do not tolerate transplanting well; during this period, most of the seedlings die. It is better to grow this variety using seed methods, rather than seedlings.
- “Herman” is prone to rust and pests. Spray crops with chemicals to prevent aphids and spider mites.
Cucumbers of this variety are not very dense flesh. This can be both a disadvantage and an advantage.
When buying a variety “Herman”, pay attention to the quality and color of the seeds. They must be treated with Thiram. If the seeds are natural, then they are fake.
