The crown of trees is prone to thickening, a huge number of side shoots grows per year. This should not be allowed, annual pruning is needed.

Care features:

  • in order for the apple tree to begin bearing fruit faster, in the first year all flowers must be removed;
  • with abundant fruiting, support the branches with supports, otherwise the shoots will not withstand the load and break. You can manually break off the excess ovary;
  • in years with unfavorable weather conditions, such as drought or heavy rains, trees can be attacked by fungal diseases. Spray them with a fungicide solution;
  • prune from March to April. Remove thickened, old and diseased branches.

For the prevention of diseases, apply potash, calcium and phosphorus fertilizers to the tree trunk circle.

For the apple tree to bear fruit, plant a pollinator tree at a distance of no more than 5 m. The cultivar is self-fertile. Without an apple pollinator, you will not wait for the fruit.
