Characteristics of the fruits of the apple-tree variety “Narodnoye”
The fruits are medium in size, their weight does not exceed 150 g. The apples are round, without ribs, with a characteristic strip on the surface. At the stage of technical ripeness, the fruits are yellow-green in color, in the process of ripening they acquire a honey color.
The taste of the fruit is of a dessert type; sweet and sour notes prevail in it. The pulp is juicy, not friable, yellowish in color with a pleasant aroma. Apples ripen at the end of August, harvesting continues until early September.
The Narodnoye apple variety has a number of positive characteristics:
- long shelf life of fruits;
- excellent taste;
- stable fruiting;
- high yield.
For fresh consumption, the fruits are stored in a cold room, where they can lie for more than 135 days. Excellent taste results in good drying. Apples are used for processing and winter harvesting. It was noted that the yield of the variety does not depend on pollination, therefore, the fruits are tied even under unfavorable conditions.
Among the disadvantages are the late ripening period and the absence of a red barrel. In addition, apples need to be picked at the stage of technical ripeness, otherwise they will be quickly attacked by bees.
If you have a small garden, then the Narodnoye apple variety is a good solution. Such a tree does not take up much space, does not require pollinator varieties, and gives a good harvest, which is enough for the whole family. If there is a good storage, then you can feast on fresh apples until spring.
