The northern berry of the princess grows in open meadows, swamps and along the shores of the Far Eastern lakes. Jam and compote are made from its berries, fruit drink, juice and liqueur are made. Aromatic tea is brewed from the leaves of the plant. Another name for this plant is arctic raspberry.
Description of the princess and her properties
Arctic raspberry is a perennial herb, the height of which does not exceed 30 cm. Its trifoliate leaves are of a rich green hue. The prince ordinary blooms from May to June. The buds of the plant consist of five bright pink petals. The berries of this herb resemble raspberries in appearance. They have a pleasant sour taste and pineapple aroma.

Arctic raspberries have the following health benefits:

The healing properties of the princess are due to its rich chemical composition. The berries of the plant contain up to 2% malic, ascorbic and citric acid, up to 7% glucose and fructose. They are also rich in carbohydrates, essential oils and tannins.

Arctic raspberries are highly decorative. Its greenery and flowers will decorate the backyard. At the same time, you can harvest healthy and aromatic berries annually.
The correct planting will help the plant grow and develop:
- Landing site. Shaded areas, sheltered from the wind, illuminated by the sun only in the morning and evening.
- The soil. Fertile loose soil with peat and sand content.
- Humidity. Abundant watering, maintaining average soil moisture.
Cuttings are planted at a distance of 0,25 m from each other. The row spacing is from 0,8 m to 1 m. The area where the berry will grow must first be cleared of weeds. It is better to replant the plant in autumn or spring before flowering. Arctic raspberries are cross-pollinated, so it is better to use several of them in one area. This will allow for more abundant flowering and a good berry yield.
It is a rare plant with useful fruits and leaves. With proper care, it will grow for a long time in the garden and delight with its greens, flowers and fragrant tasty berries.
