And so, rejecting boring research, the scientists – probably with enthusiasm – set out to find out under what circumstances ice cream tastes best. The study, which was told to the world by buro247.ua, was led by Dr. Sarah Kemp, who specializes in food technology.

- The optimum temperature for eaten ice cream is -14 C. This means that first you need to remove the product from the freezer and let it warm up a little (no more than 15 minutes).
- The ice cream should be slightly soft to the touch, so the aroma is better revealed.
- Use two spoons – add one serving of ice cream and the other to eat.
- Keep the spoon you are eating upside down in your mouth. To feel the first notes of taste, it is necessary for the ice cream to hit the tip of the tongue.
- To appreciate the smooth and creamy texture of the ice cream, slowly rotate the spoon in your mouth.
- To engage the rest of your taste buds, take a deep breath through your mouth.
- Keep the ice cream in your mouth for 12 seconds. It will start to melt – and you will feel the maximum taste.
