The Derbent sparkling wine factory has existed since the XNUMXth century, at first the company was only engaged in collecting wine grapes and sending them to wineries in Moscow and St. Petersburg. But later the plant began to produce its own wines.
More about drinks
Derbent winemakers have mastered the production almost from scratch and created their own recipe for sparkling wines. To do this, they got acquainted with many methods of champagne, invited foreign expert breeders, new grape varieties were planted: Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot, Aligote, Cabernet Sauvignon.
In order for champagne to have an exceptional taste, grapes in Derbent are harvested only by hand. After careful selection of grapes, it is pressed and filtered, which further enhances the taste of champagne. Thanks to all the efforts of winemakers, Derbent champagne has a special sweet taste.
