Indications for use of Deprim Forte

Deprim Forte is indicated in states of low mood. The active substance is St. John’s wort extract. The preparation has an antidepressant effect, relieves symptoms of malaise and states of low mood.

Deprim Forte and contraindications

Contraindications to the use of Deprim Forte are:

  1. hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation,
  2. endogenous depression,
  3. the drug should not be used by patients under 12 years of age.

Deprim Forte – dosage

  1. Adults and children after the age of 12: 1 capsule daily at the same time.

Capsules should be washed down with plenty of water.

Deprim Forte with other drugs

Do not use Deprim Forte with:

  1. digitalis cardiac glycosides,
  2. theophylline,
  3. antiepileptic drugs,
  4. anticoagulants,
  5. antidepressants,
  6. anti-migraine drugs (triptans),
  7. immunosuppressants (cyclosporins),
  8. indinavir or other antiretroviral drugs
  9. oral contraceptives.

Deprim Forte – warnings

  1. The effect of the drug Deprim Forte appears 10-14 days after taking the drug.
  2. The treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted if there is no improvement within 4 weeks.
  3. During the treatment with Deprim Forte, UV radiation (sun, solarium) should be avoided due to the photosensitizing effect.

Deprim Forte – side effects: gastrointestinal disorders, skin hypersensitivity (redness, itching), fatigue, anxiety, phototoxic reactions.
