Deposits can build up in your arteries. How can I get rid of them? [WE EXPLAIN]

Once plaque in the arteries appears, it is virtually impossible to get rid of them without invasive treatments. However, there are two methods of action within our reach: prevention and inhibition of change. Taking advantage of these options reduces the risk of developing serious cardiovascular diseases.

  1. When plaque builds up in arteries, blood cannot flow freely through them
  2. These blockages worsen if action is not taken properly
  3. Blocked arteries can even lead to death, doctors warn

Artery Deposits – Where Do They Come From?

The circulatory system is made up of small blood vessels, veins and arteries. The oxygen-containing blood circulates in them, allowing the body to function properly. When any of these vessels start to clog, this whole complex system stops working as it should, and that can be fatal.

The arteries cease to be open when plaque builds up in them. They are formed when cholesterol starts sticking to their walls. The body, to solve this problem, activates the immune system, which attacks the “enemy”.

Scale formation occurs when cells stick to cholesterol. As a result, the arteries become less and less obstructive. Deposits can also peel off, leading to a heart attack.

The arteries cannot be opened naturally. But this process can be slowed down

There is no way to get rid of the plaque that has already formed in the arteries without medical intervention. If this has happened, the specialist will decide whether it will be necessary, for example, to implant bypass strips so that the circulatory system can function properly.

However, it is on the side of the patient with the appearance of deposits that this process is inhibited, and thus such actions are taken so that subsequent blockages will no longer be generated.

The most important rule is a proper cholesterol level. First of all, this one should not exceed the norm. Second, you need to ensure that your HDL cholesterol level is higher than your LDL cholesterol level. The latter is responsible for the formation of plaque, while the former, also known as “good cholesterol”, prevents this process.

Artery Deposits and Diet. What to eat to prevent arteries from clogging?

Both when plaques have already formed in the arteries and when we are concerned about it, it is extremely important to focus on the right diet. It should be rich in good fats (found in olive oil, nuts and avocados), while limiting the consumption of saturated fat. And these are, among others in fatty meat, dairy products, bars, salty snacks or cookies.

It is also very important to reduce the consumption of sugar found in sweets, desserts and cakes.

In turn, fiber is beneficial for the arteries, as it helps to lower the level of “bad” cholesterol in the blood. Whole grains, lentils and beans can be a good source of fiber.

Prophylactically, it is also worth drinking herbal infusions prepared on the basis of Atherosclerosis – hardening of the arteries – a herbal mixture of Klimuszko’s father. We find in it birch leaf, hawthorn flower, mistletoe herb, caraway fruit, yarrow herb, fucus thallus, nettle leaf, bird knotweed herb, rose fruit, field horsetail herb, sage leaf.

Movement and losing pounds – it’s important for your arteries

Physical activity plays a vital role in keeping your cardiovascular system in top shape. In order for the heart to be healthy, it is not necessary to do competitive sports. Even moderate traffic is enough. However, it is important that it is regular. Before starting the exercises, however, it is worth contacting a doctor who will determine if there are any contraindications to the activity.

Adequate body weight is also important for the circulatory system, i.e. one that does not deviate from the norm. Extra kilos increase the level of LDL cholesterol in the blood.

Quit Addiction – Cigarettes are bad for your arteries. Alcohol in small amounts may help

Both smoking and excessive alcohol consumption have a negative effect on the body. This interaction also applies to the arteries. In turn, quitting smoking not only improves your overall health, but also increases the level of “good” cholesterol in your blood. Thus, it is a way to protect your arteries from dangerous deposits.

When it comes to alcohol, large amounts of it are especially problematic. Then the influence of alcohol drinks on the body is very negative. However, there are theories that, for example, a wine lamp has been good for health from time to time. Likewise with the arteries. Moderate alcohol consumption can raise HDL cholesterol levels, protecting you against plaque build-up.
