Our dreams of today will come true — and become tomorrow’s reality. Therefore, do not scold everyday life for being gray.
I saw this phrase about fifteen years ago on a poster: a photograph of a clean English suburb. Two story houses. Lawns. The woman with the stroller appears to be pregnant. In the distance is an old man with a basket. The rest are at work, at school, in kindergarten. Everything is neat, measured and boring. Even a dog — and she crosses the street in the right place. And the inscription in the sky: «Today is tomorrow we were promised yesterday.» Today is the tomorrow that we were promised yesterday. Or we promised ourselves, dreamed, fantasized. Our dreams of today will come true — and become tomorrow’s reality. This applies to a sophisticated mobile phone, and magical, unearthly love. Therefore, do not scold everyday life for being gray. In fact, they hide the eternal multi-colored tomorrow. Which was yesterday and will always be.
