Lunch in a sandwich
Sandwiches are created just for school fights. They can be a satisfying and quick snack right in the classroom or in the corridor during recess. And it’s easy to cook them in the morning, while the child is going to school.
I wash fresh vegetables, then put them on a paper towel and dry them. We cut ham or smoked chicken into thin slices. Now dry 2 slices of bread in a toaster and grease with a sauce of 1 tbsp olive oil, 3 tsp yogurt and 1 tsp mustard. Put a lettuce leaf, ham, cheese and fresh tomato on top. Pour the remaining sauce over everything, cover with a second toast, press it with the palm of your hand.
So that the child does not stain anything, wrap the snack in a paper towel, for example, “Soft Sign Deluxe”. Place the sandwich triangle with the base down on the unfolded paper towel at the bottom edge closer to the corner. Fold the upper corner of the towel, completely covering the sandwich. You will get a triangle, fold it along the folds of the towel to the very end. This way you will hide the sandwich in several layers of soft paper, and nothing will happen to it in the backpack.
Chips for immunity

Raw carrots, beets, zucchini, pumpkin and even string beans are best suited for chips. In total, we will need about 1 kg of vegetables that your child loves. An important condition is that they should be cut into as thin slices as possible. This is easier to do with a vegetable cutter or a professional chef’s knife. We put the slices of vegetables in a plastic container, pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil, close the lid and shake well.
Next, cover the baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the vegetables in one layer so that they do not interfere with each other. If desired, you can sprinkle them with Provencal herbs, granulated garlic, dried chili flakes, a mixture of peppers with coarse salt — choose the appropriate seasoning to your taste. We send a baking sheet with vegetables to the oven at 200 °C for 20 minutes. Do not forget to turn them over to the other side once.
Dry the vegetable chips on paper towels. To pack a snack, take a clean, dry towel. Roll a bag out of it as for seeds, tuck the tip from the bottom. Fill the bag with vegetable chips and wrap the protruding edges of the towel inside. In such a breathable package, the chips will remain crisp and will not lose their shape.
Cottage cheese dessert for your health
Cottage cheese for a schoolboy is the number one product. Moreover, it makes delicious and such useful treats for a snack. Mix 100 g of slightly warm kefir, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tsp of soda and a pinch of salt. We give the mass some time to infuse. Then we introduce a thin stream of 100 ml of melted butter. Sift 200 g of flour here, knead a soft dough.
For the filling, I wash fresh strawberries, dry them properly on a paper towel, then puree them with a blender. Beat with a mixer 250 g of cottage cheese, egg, berry mass, 3 tbsp. l. ordinary sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. We divide the dough in half, roll it out into layers. We lubricate them with cottage cheese filling, roll them into tight rolls. Spread them on a baking sheet with parchment paper, bake them in the oven at 180 °C for about 20-25 minutes.
We cut the roll into portions. We will wrap the roll in a paper towel as follows. Unfold the rectangular towel with the short side facing you. Stepping back from the edge of 7-8 cm, put the roll and cover with the resulting strip of soft paper. Next, wrap the long sides of the towel to the center so that they cover the roll on both sides. Wrap it up, moving forward, until the very end.
