Delicious homemade buns: how to bake? Video

Homemade buns smell in a special way – aromatic, fresh, appetizing. It would seem that it is an ordinary muffin, divided in portions, without frills and special additives. But homemade cakes are prepared not just from a set of ingredients, but with love. Therefore, freshly baked soft buns will become a real decoration of your table and will delight your loved ones with their warmth and taste.

Ingredients for homemade buns

This composition is designed for 8 portions of 100 g. For the dough you will need: – 300 g of flour, – 2,5 g of instant dry yeast, – 100 ml of milk, – 50 ml of water.

For the dough: – 250 g of flour, – 2,5 g of instant dry yeast, – 50 ml of water, – 0,5 tsp. salt, – 150 g of sugar, – 75 g of margarine, – 2 eggs, – 5 g of vanilla sugar.

Prepare the dough: sift the flour, mix with dry yeast, make a hole in the mixture and pour in slightly warmed milk and water at room temperature. Knead a dense bun. Cover the dough and leave in a warm room for 4 hours.

To make a fluffy dough, dissolve salt and sugar in warm water, beat in one raw egg, add vanilla sugar and stir thoroughly. Mix flour separately with dry yeast. Add the prepared ingredients to the dough and knead the dough. It will turn out to be very viscous and rather sticky, since it contains sugar in its composition. You don’t need to add more flour. Knead for another 5 minutes and add the softened margarine in small portions.

When the dough has a smooth consistency, place it on the table without flour and knead it well with your hands. It is done like this: pick up the lump, pull it in all directions, fold it two or three times, turn it over and pull it out again. This procedure must be carried out for at least 10 minutes. If the dough sticks, pick it up with a knife and knead again.

Put the kneaded soft dough in a bowl, the bottom of which is pre-coated with vegetable oil. Cover with cellophane and leave in a warm room for 3 hours.

Put the doubled dough on a floured table, divide into 8-10 pieces of equal weight. You can use a kitchen scale for this – so the buns will be baked at the same time and will be of the same consistency and shape.

Try not to knead the dough anymore, otherwise all the oxygen will go away and the buns will not rise to the desired height during baking

How to fry buns deliciously

Round each piece of dough: match the edges from the bottom to the center to create a flat outer surface so that you get a smooth ball. Grease a baking dish with margarine and flour. Arrange the fluffy buns in a mold, 1 to 2 cm apart.

Cover the dish with a waffle towel and leave to stand on the table until the dough expands. Before sending to an oven preheated to 180 ° C, grease the surface of the buns with a beaten egg.

Bake in the oven until golden brown. When the pastry is ready, its surface can be greased with butter to soften.
