New data on deaths from COVID-19. Over 70 percent the dead were not vaccinated

526 patients with COVID-19 died – on November 30, the Ministry of Health announced. This is the most in the current wave of the pandemic. From the data provided by the Ministry, we also know how many people have lost their lives due to SARS-CoV-2 alone (150), and how many due to the coexistence of COVID-19 with other diseases (376).

On November 30, however, we learned much more from the Ministry of Health’s announcement. Namely, how many of the dead got vaccinated against COVID-19 and how many did not. The data is shocking. It turns out that out of 526 deceased patients, 386 are unvaccinated. It is over 73 percent.

The ministry also clarified that out of 140 vaccinated persons who died, 109 had comorbidities, and their average age is over 65 years.

The answer, why it is necessary and worth vaccinating against COVID-19, suggests itself: this way you can save your life and health. Vaccines (all vaccines, not just against COVID-19) are designed to prevent severe disease, including death.

Let’s not forget that vaccines are not 100% effective, so it happens that after taking it, you get sick. Whether and how we pass COVID-19 depends mainly on our immune system. Most often, however, symptoms are mild. More on this topic: A doctor explains why vaccinated people get sick and die from COVID-19.
