Darsonvalization

Electrotherapy has long been used in medicine for the prevention and treatment of various diseases. Most of the methods have taken their places of honor and become popular in cosmetology. One of such effective methods is darsonvalization of the face. This procedure can be used as an independent treatment technique, or in combination with other cosmetic measures. Often it is used as a preparation for the procedure to eliminate skin defects, for plastic surgery and in the rehabilitation period after surgery.

Improvement of skin indicators and prevention of age-related changes with the help of electric current have long been known in cosmetology. Many of these procedures are effective and keep ahead of other cosmetic activities. One of these methods is d`Arsonval. It is named after the French physiologist Arsene d’Arsonval.

Darsonvalization is a physiotherapeutic method that acts superficially on the mucous membrane, tissues and subcutaneous fat with high-frequency electrical impulses. Conducting current through a glass vacuum tube with a sealed inert gas moving over the surface of the skin is possible with local darsonvalization. Given the strength of the current, discharges are used: spark and small. It should be noted that small discharges are absolutely not audible and not felt. Sparks, on the other hand, make a peculiar sound, similar to crackling and create a tingling sensation.

Types of darsonvalization

There are 2 types of darsonvalization: local and general. General darsonvalization is a method in which the patient is completely placed in the “cage”. A person in a solenoid coil is exposed to a high-frequency electromagnetic field. It should be noted that the entire human body is affected. This technique allows you to achieve a hypotensive and sedative effect, as well as increase metabolic processes.

This type of procedure is used for hypertension, sleep disorders, neurasthenia and certain metabolic diseases. This method is not used very often today. Local darsonvalization is a method of applying current to a part of the human body. It can be the face, head, eyelids, nose, stomach, back and other parts of the body.

In addition, darsonvalization can be carried out in two ways: contact and remote.

The contact method is the method in which the electrode comes into contact with the skin. The electrode should slide smoothly over the surface of the skin, while ionizing the air. This method is especially effective for skin changes due to age.

The remote method (non-contact) does not have any contact with the skin. In this case, the glass tube should be placed over the skin. It is worth noting that even under such conditions, you can feel a slight tingling sensation. During the procedure, you can notice the glow of ultraviolet radiation, the formation of ozone and air ionization. This method is excellent in the treatment of acne and in the elimination of fine wrinkles.

Darsonvalization faces

Most people are interested in what kind of effect can be achieved by conducting sessions with the help of d’Arsonval. Not all effects can be noticed immediately. First of all, a person’s metabolic processes improve, the skin structure changes, blood circulation improves, stagnation in tissues decreases. In addition, you can see changes in the skin: elasticity appears, the work of the glands that secrete sebum improves, skin renewal occurs faster.

The spark discharge affects not only the surface of the skin, but also its deep layer. The condition of the skin improves due to the fact that the skin, which is an electrolyte that creates an electrical discharge with ultrasonic vibrations.

Procedure

Absolutely every cosmetic procedure should begin with cleansing the skin. Make-up is removed from the face, all metal accessories should be removed from the body. After that, the procedure itself should begin, it is performed exclusively on a dry face. It is important to understand that a prerequisite for the d’Arsonval method. The purpose of the procedure depends on the skin problem, age and individual characteristics. Having decided on the purpose of the procedure, the appropriate nozzle and darsonvalization method are selected: contact or non-contact. This choice should be made by a specialist, relying on the information received from the patient. The cosmetologist drives a vacuum tube along the massage lines for several minutes. The duration of the procedure is determined solely by the beautician.

Darsonvalization does not cause pain and discomfort, only a slight tingling sensation is possible, which does not cause discomfort. The duration of the procedure most often lasts 5-10 minutes, while gradually the time can be increased. This procedure can be carried out every day or every other day. Their number is determined by the beautician depending on the problem to be solved. Most often, 10-15 sessions are performed with a frequency of 1 month between courses.

Indications for darsonvalization may be the presence of acne and acne. It is used in the treatment of dermatitis and other possible inflammatory processes on the skin. In addition, the procedure is very popular in eliminating the symptoms of age-related wilting: dry and sagging skin. Darsonvalization can be used in the treatment of scars and rosacea, as well as in order to increase skin tone and reduce swelling and circles under the eyes.

Despite the many positive qualities, the procedure has some contraindications, in which it is not recommended to use it. Darsonvalization cannot be carried out if a person has diseases of the heart and blood vessels, oncological diseases, and blood clotting disorders. Also, the procedure is contraindicated for pregnant women and women during lactation. In addition, it is impossible to carry out darsonvalization for people with a pacemaker and a metal prosthesis in the body. If a person has acute and chronic diseases, which have worsened during this period, the procedure should be abandoned.

If darsonvalization is prescribed to a person with cardiovascular disease, he may have breathing problems and a heart attack, as blood circulation is significantly increased. Skin clotting disorders can cause serious problems with blood coagulation. If a person has any neoplasms, then the procedure is not recommended, since darsonvalization itself improves blood circulation, which can cause the growth of a neoplasm, both benign and malignant. If a pregnant woman uses this physiotherapeutic method, then it is likely that she will be able to provoke a miscarriage, since the electric current stimulates the sinking of the skin and any part of the body.

In addition, individual intolerance to the procedure is also possible. Therefore, it is important to remember that it is impossible to choose a procedure on your own, without relying on real skin problems. You should strictly adhere to the recommendations of a cosmetologist who can prescribe darsonvalization in conjunction with other cosmetic methods to achieve the maximum effect.
