For preschoolers, they, of course, will not cause any trouble, except that they need to be tied, and so far not everyone succeeds. But for babies who cannot yet or are just starting to walk, these are very dangerous things. They can inadvertently twist around the legs or arms. Much worse if some kind of string wraps around the neck. By the way, it is for this reason that parents are advised in infancy not to wear a cross on a long string around the baby’s neck.

The first shoes, in turn, should be either with Velcro, or without fasteners at all, so that the baby does not accidentally step on the untied lace or get caught by it.

A shirt under the throat and an adult is not always comfortable. Otherwise, why are we trying to unbutton the top button? And you children this “stranglehold”. Nothing should ever press on a child’s neck! This can provoke choking. In addition, squeezing disrupts blood circulation, and headaches may occur.

The same goes for turtlenecks. We do not argue, comfortable clothes, covers the throat from cold and wind, allowed as a school uniform. But its neck should not be too tight. At the very least, it will be painful and uncomfortable for the child to change clothes. The worst case scenario is a little higher.

In general, if possible, it is better to replace the turtleneck with a sweater with a voluminous neck or an elastic stand-up collar. There are clothes with buttons on the shoulder, which are easier to put on and adjust.
