Dalacin T is a preparation intended for the treatment of dermatological ailments typical of adolescence. It is available by prescription and is intended for external application to the skin. It can be purchased in several forms: liquid, gel and emulsion intended for application to the skin. Most often, Dalacin T is used to treat acne vulgaris.
The composition of Dalacin T
The composition of Dalacin T includes primarily clindamycin. This organic chemical compound is a semi-synthetic antibiotic belonging to the group of lincosamides. It affects various types of bacteria, including gram-positive bacteria, including strains resistant to most other antibiotics (MRSA bacterial strains). Clindamycin also acts on anaerobic bacteria. It inhibits the synthesis of bacterial proteins by blocking the bacterial ribosomes necessary to carry it out. As a result, bacteria stop multiplying and their numbers decline.
Clindamycin is an easily digestible compound that easily penetrates into tissues. It is commonly used in the case of bacterial infections, also in the treatment of peritonitis, pelvic and abdominal abscesses. Thanks to its presence in the composition of Dalacin T, this preparation fights the bacteria responsible for causing acne vulgaris.
