– All the time I live outside the city. It is much quieter here than in Moscow, and the road to the city takes a little time. I don’t run much households, except that I walk the dogs, and my husband does flowers. As soon as it gets warmer, we hang a hammock between the trees, arrange folding beds. On one of them I am lying, on the other – dogs or visiting cats. Mushrooms grow in huge numbers on the site. The guests are trying to collect them, but I don’t let them: they will suddenly be poisoned. Two crazy squirrels are scurrying through the trees, an owl arrives. To relax in the country, you need … to understand that it exists for relaxation.

– I really like living outside the city, – says Boris. – This is my dream house! I really love the color red, so there is something red in the design of every room.

I don’t have a cult of a vegetable garden, but what can compare with the first radish grown by my own hands? To relax at the dacha, you need … to get together with the whole big family.

– For me, the dacha is an absolute exclusion from life, – Ekaterina admits. – I don’t do anything there. I just breathe fresh air and, lying on the grass under the trees, I read books for which there is not enough time in the city. Sometimes friends come, then we fry kebabs and conduct philosophical conversations. I don’t deal with the garden – maybe it will come with age? To relax in the country, you need … the sun, a hammock and a good book.

– I have no orchards at my dacha, I don’t grow potatoes there. But I plant trees. There are already about 600 of them. Pines, thujas, spruces and cedars. 7 years ago my colleagues – TV presenters, musicians – carried out the action “Plant a Victory tree in Serebryany Bor”. And to relax in the country, you need … take a shovel and work hard.
Alla Dovlatova, actress (“Secrecy of the investigation”). I bought a plot (20 acres) in the village of Krekshino (Kiev direction) 9 years ago from the singer Valeria.
– After buying the house, we demolished and rebuilt the second floor. The former owners took good care of the site, and we got well-groomed trees around which I planted tulips. We also built playgrounds with slides and swings for our eldest daughter. Now his son is playing there, and soon the youngest daughter will join him. If not for traffic jams, I would have lived in the country all year round! To relax in the country, you need the sun to shine and everyone has a day off.

– This house in the town of Gruzino, where there are many dachas for actors and musicians, I bought almost 25 years ago. Then I suddenly wanted silence and fresh air. Gradually, the building was insulated, supplied with water and heating. Still, life in nature should be comfortable. My dacha is for relaxation. I don’t grow anything here. Although I have an assistant who leads all the work on the site.

I bought a dacha on the Kashirskoye highway, 30 km from Moscow.
– I used to stay at the dacha to spend the night even on weekdays. And at 5 am I left for work. But now there are such traffic jams … I don’t like to be engaged in planting on the site, but I like to take care of plants. I also love it when friends come to the dacha. It happened more often before. To relax in the country, you need a lot of people – to sit at the table, drink tea and tell interesting stories.
Nikolai Lukinsky, humorist. The dacha was bought 11 years ago in Malakhovka behind Lyubertsy
– I had no idea that I could live outside the city, – says Nikolai. – 16 years ago we rented a dacha here in Malakhovka outside Lyubertsy. Then we bought a small dacha. And when a village began to be built nearby, they acquired this plot with a foundation. Three years later, the brick house was built, my wife and I spent the night in it for the first time, and in the morning I said that I would not leave here again. Wonderful air, silence and a place that we have already come to love.
Our house is 200 square meters, it has two floors, three bedrooms, two offices, a dining room, a living room, a kitchen and a basement-gym. We live together with my wife, our daughters are already adults. The eldest, Olga, receives her third higher education in pharmacology, lives and studies in Spain. And the youngest, Dasha, graduated from the Institute of Management, got married, and her grandson Lesha will be three years old in September. We are glad when they come to visit us. Next year, by the way, it will be 35 years since my wife Irina and I. Plot – 10 acres, there is where to roam. In one part of the property, we made a relaxation corner where you can sit, look at the water, read a book. But you can’t rest at the dacha all the time. Once a week I mow the lawn – it’s not a woman’s business. If I need to dig something serious, I also do it myself. When we planted the Christmas trees, we gave them names: Arsyusha, Sonya, Henrietta – in honor of the children of our friends.
In another part of the site there is a gazebo with barbecue. I put the gazebo, as it turned out later, in the sunniest place. She was so hot that it was impossible to be in her. Then we planted grapes, he wrapped around the gazebo, and it became comfortable. In the heat it is cool, in windy weather it is warm. In the summer we dine in it.

– Our dacha is like porridge from an ax, – says Roxana. – We started with a small faded shield house. Then they finished building for five years. It was necessary to insulate it, revet it with bricks. And this happened in the 90s, when something could only be obtained by pull. There was a very funny story. We went to the warehouse for bricks. A man of small stature came out to Mikhail Mikhailovich and said: “Babayan.” The husband replies: “No, I am Derzhavin.” The man smiles: “No, it’s me Babayan. Of course, I will do everything for Roxanne. ” Blocks of bricks were brought to us, lovingly wrapped in foil. The most favorite place is the 90-meter living room. It was attached separately. I dreamed of a big room where all my family and friends could gather. There is a sliding table in it, at which we celebrate anniversaries, New Year. Here are our archives, awards, photographs, records. Our plot is also rather big. Mikhail Mikhailovich made a Christmas tree alley, and I planted an orchard: cherries, apple trees, plums. They wanted to surround the house with flowers, and planted beautiful bushes. One of our dogs immediately lay across one bush, the other across another. The bushes have turned into broken twigs. At this point, attempts to start a flower garden ended.

About 9 years ago, friends invited me to visit the Volga, the Tver region. They said that their place was very picturesque, and there was a house for sale next door. Then I bought a log house without windows, without doors, completed it in a season, and for 8 years now I have been constantly redoing something, bringing it to my mind. I am very sorry that I did not immediately destroy the log house and did not build the house from scratch. It would cost three times less.
Svetlana Galka, actress. A plot of 16 acres in the Yaroslavl region.
– I was born in Yaroslavl, so we have a dacha in these parts, – says Svetlana. – The plot was bought by my parents 12 years ago. You can come here all year round: the building is chopped, inside it is a village oven. The main advantage of the site is that it is not surrounded by buildings from all sides. You will come to the fence, and beyond it there is space. The fence is mesh, because there is nothing to hide – everyone is here. A jackdaw lived with us for many years. She made a nest on a linden tree that grew on the site. We fed her, and in ten years the jackdaw became tame. Friends joked that I took a pseudonym in her honor (in fact, Galka’s surname is real. – Approx. “Antenna”). About three years ago, lightning struck the linden tree and destroyed the nest. We haven’t seen a bird since then, but the tree was cut down.
