Because, being a textbook for psychologists and psychotherapists, in fact it is an absolutely self-sufficient work of art, read in one breath. These are six dialogues of Dr. Bugenthal with his patients and his comments on the key points of therapy. Their communication is joint work and responsibility to each other. The titles of the chapters of the book speak of the scale of the topics covered: “the lost sense of being”, “responsibility and choice”, “anger and devotion”, “obedience and independence”, “loneliness and need”… Anna Fenko made an excellent translation of the book.
