Czech diet

Any diet involves some kind of restriction. They contribute to the formation of restrictive eating behavior. People with this type of eating behavior are literally obsessed with all kinds of diets and food restrictions. At the heart of their desire to lose weight is the sacred belief that by counting calories and reducing their daily consumption to a minimum, you can lose weight significantly. Indeed, losing those extra pounds on restrictive diets is not so difficult.

The Czech diet was developed by the Croatian dietician doctor. The diet is designed for 3 weeks and helps to lose weight to 15 kg. The whole diet consists of low-fat and low-calorie foods, and is strictly defined by the amount of food taken by day.

Such nutrition is designed for relatively slow weight loss and long-term preservation of results, so if you follow all the nuances and features of Dr. Horvath’s scheme, the already lost weight will not return after leaving the diet. Although the number of calories absorbed is quite small, thanks to a balanced set of foods, eating according to the Czech diet eliminates the torment of hunger and an empty stomach. Low-fat protein foods, fruits and vegetables are the main composition of the diet according to this system.

Czech diet: diet and sample menu

The diet implies the rejection of fried, smoked, pickled. The amount of sugar consumed should be kept to a minimum. Among the allowed protein foods: lean meat (veal or beef), turkey and skinless chicken, chicken eggs and lean fish. Dairy products that are allowed in the Czech diet: milk, cheeses, kefir, yogurt and cottage cheese, and exclusively fat-free.

Green tea, mineral water and coffee speed up metabolism, so they are also on the “white” list.

The use of rye bread is allowed, but only in the form of toast (one or two per day) – this reduces its calorie content, while the beneficial properties remain unchanged.

Vegetables and fruits – it’s hard to imagine a diet without them. It is allowed to use: green apples, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, melon, watermelon, citrus fruits, and, oddly enough, potatoes, which usually nutritionists do not favor in the fight against body fat. It turns out that boiled potatoes in small quantities do not pose a serious threat to the waist.

Expecting to lose weight on the Czech diet, you need to forget about the use of white bread and muffin, sausages and sausages, chocolate, sweets, pork, alcohol, sweet carbonated drinks, pasta.

It is supposed to be five meals a day, with dinner no later than 3-4 hours before bedtime.

Some fruits also fall out of favor due to their high sugar content. Among them are grapes, raisins, bananas.

A clearly painted menu is designed for 7 days, and then it is repeated in a circle two more times. You can roughly understand what awaits those who lose weight according to this system, according to the nutritional plan of the first day. Breakfast includes 1 rye cracker, 1 bagged egg, tea or coffee. Second breakfast – 1 green apple. For lunch – meat and a side dish (130 g of boiled lean meat, 100 g of boiled potatoes, 200 g of vegetables), if desired – tea. An afternoon snack consists of 100 g of fruit and tea, and for dinner you can count on 100 g of vegetables (without dressing), 80 g of low-fat ham, a hard-boiled egg, rye crouton with butter and a glass of apple juice.

The total calorie content of all meals is no more than 1300 kcal.

The ration of the rest of the days is built according to the same scheme and contains meat, fruits, vegetables, eggs, tea and coffee, low-fat dairy products.

Basic rules and contraindications

In addition to the refusal of harmful products, there are a few nuances, observing which, you can achieve significant loss of excess weight:

  • strictly abide by the menu, not allowing yourself to relax;
  • give up alcohol and smoking;
  • do a little morning exercise, walk every day for at least 20-30 minutes.

Diet is forbidden when:

  • pregnancy and lactation;
  • kidney disease;
  • oncological diseases;

  • gastritis and gastric ulcer;
  • ARVI.

The results of the Czech diet

What to expect with such a diet? Nutritionists agree that such a scheme is quite balanced and sufficient to lose from 8 to 15 kg of excess weight in just 21 days, without harming the health and normal functioning of the body. There should be no hungry fainting, excruciating hunger and dizziness from malnutrition – after all, the diet is aimed at losing weight, not torture.

As a result of the diet, the metabolic process is normalized and the functioning of the intestine improves.

The products prescribed for consumption contain the necessary vitamins, trace elements and nutrients, however, a dietitian may advise taking a vitamin-mineral complex during the diet.

Reviews of those who followed the Czech diet system say that, firstly, the weight really goes away, and minus 15 kg is a real figure, although more often the figure on the scales decreases by 5-7 kg on average. The success of the diet directly depends on the desire to lose weight and the absence of violations in the diet.

Secondly, getting out of the diet is not a lot of stress for the body, and even if you switch to regular nutrition, the weight will not quickly return. Accustomed to a specific amount of a certain food over 3 weeks, the body most likely will not require the amount of sugar and fat that was previously absorbed. It is necessary to go out gradually, adding only one prohibited product to the diet per day, while sweets can be consumed no earlier than 7 days after the end of the diet, and no more than 2 once a week.

Dietary recipes

The simplicity and availability of products approved for nutrition is an indisputable plus of this weight loss system.

Vegetable salad: boiled chicken breast is chopped, pepper, cucumbers and tomatoes are cut, cheese is rubbed. All ingredients are mixed and seasoned with olive oil.

An even simpler fruit salad – orange, grapefruit and apple are peeled and cut. Then they need to be mixed and seasoned with low-fat yogurt.

The Czech diet is suitable for some cases of obesity and overweight, it is one of the most balanced and sparing diets. The results of the diet are achieved fairly quickly, are normally retained and do not require titanic efforts on oneself. Getting out of it does not strike a blow to the nervous and digestive systems. The main thing to remember is that a preliminary consultation with a nutritionist about contraindications and a possible effect is a guarantee that the figure will become toned and the body will remain healthy.

But, unfortunately, not always such a diet can give a positive result, even temporary. Despite the fact that it is quite balanced in composition, its calorie content is sharply limited, which means that, most likely, it may not even compensate for the cost of even the main metabolism. In this case, the body begins to work with a slowdown in metabolic processes and weight loss does not occur at all. But even if it is possible to get rid of extra pounds by the end of the diet, such restrictive eating behavior causes a person to have an unbridled desire to catch up during the diet, which leads to a breakdown.
