Short hair makes life much easier for its owner: it does not interfere, does not fall on the face, does not require such careful care as long hair. But girls with short haircuts also want to change their image from time to time, but with such hair there is not much room for imagination. Nevertheless, adorable curls are quite an achievable goal.
This method may not help you create neat curls to the hair, but is ideal for quick styling, especially if you have fine, manageable hair. Divide your hair into strands, apply a little styling lather on each, and then wrap it around your finger and hold for a minute, or apply lather all over your hair and then simply squeeze your hair with your hands. You will end up with a sloppy, disheveled styling a la “artistic mess.”
The peculiarity of curling short hair is that only small curls are suitable for them, large curls from such, alas, will not work. Therefore, in order to curl them with a hair dryer, you need a small round comb, and if you use a curling iron, it should be fine enough itself.
Use a lightweight styling mousse with a volumizing effect. Slicked-together short hair will not look very attractive. You shouldn’t get carried away with mousse either.
If you are using a hairdryer, curl slightly damp hair. Apply a little styling product to them, then start drying your hair by curling it around with a fine round comb. The air should be warm, not hot – if you dry out short hair, it will look like a crow’s nest.
When using tongs, do not keep your hair in them for too long, so as not to injure – a minute is enough, especially if you have fine hair.
With the help of a hair straightener, you can hardly make curls, but you can easily tuck the ends of short hair (for example, if you have a square or a ladder).
On short hair, it is better to apply thermal protection products so that the ends do not start to split and the hair is not overdried. Hot hair appliances such as curling irons, irons, and hair rollers should not be used too often.
Curls can be curled with curlers or ribbons. Only for short hair, Velcro curlers are best suited – you cannot wind short hair on papillots, and you will have to suffer with foam curlers. Small heated rollers can be a good option – they will significantly save time.
But winding your hair on fabric ribbons is even easier – wrap the strand around the ribbon several times, and tie the ends of the ribbon and feel free to go to bed. In the morning you will become the owner of charming curls.
