The Biennial-Aset Experience has become, since the 80’s, a characteristic and expected event that takes place every two years.

From last September 6 to 30, the city of Seville opens its doors like every two years to receive all those who wish to enjoy this magical event in which the streets are painted in flamenco colors, being able to enjoy all the aspects involved in this contest, which combines the flamenco contest with different performances, both in song and dance of this typical Spanish art.

In addition, organized routes are included for the enjoyment and enrichment of visitors, which include acts staged by different tablaos, the Triana neighborhood, the Alameda de Hércules, artists’ houses and other scenarios that are part of the history of flamenco in Seville.

In this year’s edition, some of the performances that we will have the opportunity to appreciate will be those of: Ana Morales, Argentina, Farruquito, Isabel Bayón, José Valencia, María Terremoto, Paco Jarana, Rocío Molina, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Rosalía, Rosario La Tremendita, Tía Juana la del Pipa, Remedios Amaya, Juana Amaya and many more artists.

This selection, along with the programming, is made by a consortium made up of an artistic commission made up of some of the most relevant figures in the world of flamenco, alongside a commission made up of experts who advise on the shows and other joint activities of the Biennial, such as competitions, conferences, talks and seminars.

The Seville Flamenco Biennial, in collaboration with the Sevillana Association of Tourism Companies (ASET), It has become an important event with great international and national repercussion. Since its inception more than 30 years ago, it has brought together the best flamenco figures in the Andalusian capital. Crossing the barriers of the conventional, he delves into the art of flamenco to reveal it with all its possible nuances, and during this process, makes Seville the world capital of this artistic discipline.
