The main parameters of Zelentsov:

  • length – up to 9,4 cm;
  • weight – 92,5 g;
  • shape – cylindrical.

This variety boasts juicy and crunchy flesh. The surface of the fruit is slightly lumpy, and also has a pronounced white pubescence.

The leaves are large to medium in size. The most common leaves are dark green, but they can also be simple green.

The main advantage of the variety is its resistance to various diseases of cucumbers. With proper care, the plant is not threatened by downy mildew, mosaic or cladosporia.

The variety feels great both in open beds and in closed glass-type greenhouses. A prerequisite is as much light and sun as possible.

Before planting seeds in open ground, they must be prepared. To do this, follow a few simple steps:

  1. Select only the highest quality seeds. Empty or damaged units must be weeded out immediately.
  2. For 15 minutes, hold the planting material in potassium permanganate for disinfection.
  3. Quench with periodic temperature changes.

It is advisable to plant seeds on loose, fertile and loamy soil. The acidity should be weak or neutral.

Sowing should be started in late May or early July. In this case, the first greens appear 45 days after germination. That is why this variety can be considered early

The “Artist” variety must be provided with frequent but moderate watering. Excess moisture can cause cucumber roots to die instantly. The plant needs constant tying. It is necessary to constantly remove the ovaries, as well as the lateral whiskers, which are located near the first leaves.

To ensure a rich harvest, you need to know how to properly water the fruits:

  • in hot weather – in the early morning every day;
  • in cool weather – in the early morning every other day.

You need to harvest the crop as soon as the cucumbers are ripe. Otherwise, there will be an overload of the bushes on which the fruits are located, and the plant will no longer bear enough fruit.
